Survey Results

I posted a link on Facebook to a six-question marriage survey. It’s still open, so if you’d like to take it CLICK HERE. It’s completely anonymous.

As of now, here are some of the results…

Slightly more women responded (60%) than men (40%).

It was a fairly even split as far as number of years married.

When asked to rank the following topics in order of importance, here’s how it broke down:

The #1 topic was: “How to understand and meet my spouse’s needs.” 85% of the men had it in their top 3. 59% of women did. For those of you who are interested, my online video course addresses that very topic. CLICK HERE to learn more.

73% of women listed “How to communicate and resolve conflicts more effectively” in their top 3. Only 31% of men did.

“Knowing how to grow in our faith together” was in the top 3 for 62% of men and 64% of women.

“Having a more fun and satisfying sex life” was ranked the lowest among the 6 topics. I’m not sure if that means most couples are doing just fine in that area or it’s not a priority for them even if things aren’t fine.

Finally, when asked if you’d be interested in a free one-hour online training that addressed the top needs, the results were split down the middle. Half of respondents said “yes” and half said “no.” Those married longer than 16 years were more likely to say “no.”

Since there was a good amount of interest in the free training, Robyn and I will be scheduling it soon. If you’re interested, the best way to stay in the loop is to sign up for my newsletter. If you do, you’ll also get a free eBook…
